South Wind 802

We schedule beach trips every year for a family get together. This year we used VRBO / Luxury Beach Rentals and were very happy with the property. Everything matched the descriptions including the condo was very clean. Luxury Beach Rentals were very responsive and easy to work with. We would use them and the property again.

Enjoyed our week in unit 802 south winds. Condo is as advertised. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Easy check in with door code and no hassles with keys to enter complex. We cooked all our meals and kitchen had everything needed for our group of 9. Liked the large balcony and quiet section of beach.

This large, exceptionally clean condo exceeded our expectations! Everything was wonderful, fully stocked, easy parking and large oceanfront balcony we all enjoyed! Easy access to the beach, as well! We would definitely stay at 802 again!

Our family including children and grandchildren stayed at South Wind 802 condo for the week. The condo exceeded all expectations. Furniture was all comfortable, well equipped for cooking and had plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy when wanted. Views were beautiful and pools, lazy river and hot tubs were never so crowed you couldn't enjoy. Access to beach was great too. Only complaint would be complex needs new pool lounges for laying in the sun.

We've stayed in a few VRBO rentals over the years. This was the best - - - by far. The location and the facility was top notch in every way.

The condo and the view were beautiful and it suited our family reunion very well for my Mom's 80th birthday celebration.Everything was very well stocked for cooking, sleeping and for the beach. We did have a small issue with the main sliding patio door coming off the track, the DVD player was disconnected and we spent the last day in the dark (no fault of the condo)thanks to Hurricane Ian. So my only suggestion is to stock or suggest to guests visiting during Hurricane season to bring candles and or flashlights. :-)

Condo was fabulous. Everything was great except the cleaning crew showed up 30 minutes before check out and waited outside the front door. It was awkward.

We take a family vacation to Myrtle Beach every year. There are 3 families with 2 kids each and we all try to stay together, which can make finding a large enough condo very difficult. This condo had a great layout and met our needs perfectly. It was exceptionally clean. The master bath was absolutely beautiful. The large balcony with access from the living room and two bedrooms was perfect. The beach access was so convenient. We also loved the pools and hot tubs. I have only a few recommendations. First, the room with the single queen bed would be much better if it had a swing king option so older kids wouldn’t have to share a bed. The shower head in the master suite feels like a pressure washer, not in a good way. The pressure was wonderful, but with that shower head, it felt like needles pelting me In the face. It was very difficult to shower kids in that room due to the intense pressure. Otherwise, no complaints! We had a wonderful time and plan to stay there again.

First family vacation in 3 years. Had a great time and very comfortable in the property. We had a 15 passenger van that was difficult to navigate up to the 2nd floor but it was doable just difficult at times. Kitchen was very well equipped. Lazy river was small and needed better flow.

SouthWind is the nicest place we've stayed in all of our trips to MB. The parking was ample and easy. Facilities were clean. The location of the property is perfect. You're in the middle...short drive to North Myrtle, short drive to downtown.

Our suite was the real star. We stayed in 802. It was beautifully kept and decorated. There was plenty of room for all of us to be moving around inside without feeling like we were on top of each other. The two master suites are gorgeous. The other three bedrooms have plenty of room and easy access to bathrooms.

You will not be disappointed with SouthWind. It was awesome!!

WE LOVE THIS CONDO!! This is an amazing place to stay with a beautiful full view of the ocean. The property description online was very accurate! Plenty of comfortable seating. A well equipped kitchen. Wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!

So much room for our family of 12. Comfy beds in every bedroom. Will request this condo , 802 again. No dirty carpets every room has tile. Great view of ocean. We did not want to leave.

Very nice Condo & very spacious. Would recommend this to friends & family. The first thing I look at is how clean it is. It is very clean which is very important for me. Great location. Close to most attractions & the beach is beautiful. Awesome sunrise & sunsets. Nice beach view from the 8th floor. Very comfortable place for a family reunion of 11 people.

We had a wonderful vacation. Room 802 was beautiful. We loved the idea of the door lock so we didn't need keys. The property was clean and well maintained. LOVE IT!

Fantastic overall experience. This was our second time at South Wind. The unit was well decorated and felt new. The kitchen was well stocked with good wares. We had 8 there. 7 adults and a 3 yr old. The 5th bedroom made the different bedtimes easy. Pools were great. Beach access was excellent. No umbrellas set out this year though. Dryer should be checked as it took quite a while to dry towels.

Perfect! No carpets.
Allergies were never a problem on this vacation....there was NO dirty carpets. No carpets at all! The condo has so much space for all 12 of us to be together without feeling cramped. The owners have lots of seating in the condo and on balcony for everyone. Comfortable beds in all bedrooms. Our family liked the 4 full bathrooms ...no lines! The kitchen had everything we could ask for. Pools and hot tubs were clean. Will definitely stay again and we highly recommend this condo.

The property was perfect, the company excellent service, dream vacation rental. Everything was just as we had hoped for. Thinking of renting again next year. We had an issue with a bathroom and it was fixed immediately. Great customer service, well maintained property. Friendly clean beautiful.

We stayed in this wonderful condo for a week. We had 10 family members and there was plenty of space. It was well equipped and clean. The condo had an oceanfront view, and a large balcony to view it from. We would definitely stay there again.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the condo, the view and the location. Had a few bumps. While hauling 2 carts of medical equipment to the room upon arrival, a family of 3, no masks, pushed onto the elevator, stating that Covid was a political hoax. This was against the rules. One of the master bedrooms sliding door wouldn’t open. I called first thing, was told someone would be by to fix that evening, or the next day(Sunday) at the latest. I called again Monday when it still hadn’t been fixed, and a gentleman came out within a couple hours, apologizing profusely when he saw that this was the room of the child on a vent, who couldn’t see or hear the beach until fixed. Also, when we arrived, that same bedroom had all the linens on the floor with a tied up bundle of sheets on the bed. Aside from those bumps, the trip was perfect. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals for 7. Unbelievable views. Didn’t use the pools due to Covid, but the beach was not overcrowded and people kept their distance.

Best vacation ever. Everyone had their own room. Beautiful, elegant condo. Loved the 2 master suites overlooking ocean with sliding glass doors and the huge balcony with tables and chairs. We had every meal outside on the balcony. Indoor pool was as long as an Olympic pool and warm! Can't wait to book again. Close to everything but at the North end of Myrtle Beach... Not North Myrtle Beach but not in the tourist area. The sky wheel is close to 6th Street. Condo is North of 50th street.
