Dunes Village Resort 1120

Property is as described in the listing, and specific unit just as pictured. Given that we stayed at the end of July, I imagine the unit has been quite busy for the summer, so some general paint touch-ups and such will likely be done during the off-season, so I try not to over-focus on those types of things.
Pros: Check-in and communication through stay were clear and easy; no surprises in terms of costs, unit, or anything; several elevators on the property, so we never had to wait long to go up or down; excellent beach access and proximity; nice view; unit was quiet despite being a busy property; our older teens enjoyed the pool tables and shuffle board; parking is free (across the street in ramp)
Cons: unit could use updating (but is as pictured) and we had nice weather during our stay so were not in the unit often; general VRBO annoyances (only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 garbage bag, etc, and strip down sheets and such when leaving, which makes for a hassle when trying to get to airports or the whole family out on time, but again, that's all in the listing so no surprise).

Overall, we had a nice experience. If you have younger kids, the waterpark feature is nice to get out of the sun or for rainy days, but we really didn't use that as our kids are older. The restaurant in the property and accompanying bar are very convenient. If we were to return to the area, we would probably stay in North Myrtle beach next time as it just fits with our family and older teens better (nice restaurants, cute shops, etc), but we also enjoyed going down to the pier and boardwalk, which was very convenient from this location.

Very nice 3 bedroom angled oceanfront condo. Loved the indoor water parks! Staff was friendly and attentive. I will return and recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Dunes Village. The water park is right downstairs and the kids love it. The view is amazing and being right on the beach is wonderful. Would highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property! Very clean and spacious with ocean views. This room definitely did not disappoint and would love to stay here again. I would recommend going to the front desk and ask for key cards so you can access the beach from the pool areas.

Fantastic!
Family (kids age 9 and 11) went to Dunes for Easter. It was fantastic. Tons of stuff to do (waterparks, ping pong, playground, bball), but extra fun stuff with Easter. Really, hands down, the greatest number of amenities on the beach. Parking was easy but was across the street, but it was also easy to drop off at the building before going to park. Weather was good some days and we were outside, but the other days were still great because of all the indoor options. Restaurants on site were both good, and was nice to have a small gift shop. As to the condo, as good as pictured if not better. View was very nice. Condo itself was super clean and was very well stocked (particularly the kitchen) and very comfortable. It was nice to have a good sized table for both eating, games, etc. Also great to have a washer/dryer in the unit to dry towels, etc. Definitely will be back!
