Island Vista 605

We had the best time for our spring break. Our kids had a blast. The view is priceless. The weather was cold, but that didn't stop us. This rental is amazing. A few issues that will hopefully be resolved. We plan to stay here next year. One of the cleanest units we've stayed in, but I did clean everyday. I am very picky when it comes to cleaning. Would love to see an updated fridge with a water/ice maker. Highly recommend!

The location was Perrr...fect! The cleanliness was SUPERB! You needed ONLY to show up! EVERYTHING else was there! Diwn to a pitch Folk and as little as a deck of cards! We felt AT HOME and it made you care for it as though it was your own. Again EVERYTHING and then some was right there at your fingertips! OH BUT THE OCEAN! OCEAN! OCEAN! I tried to bottle it! Watching my Grandaughter practice her LaCrosse game on the beach with her Dad was speechless. I will be back God willing. Thank you for allowing me to stay!

We've been staying at Island Vista over the Thanksgiving holiday for 15 years. We love the location, amenities, restaurants, and options in Myrtle Beach and this specific property. We rented three different units to accomodate our extended family. We've never had a less than wonderful experience at Island Vista.

We have been coming to Island Vista for 6 years now and it never disappoints. The location of the hotel makes it super special because it is located between residential areas, leaving the beach semi exclusive. The room we stayed in 605 was lovely. Enough space for 4 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen is spacious for a condo. During our stay the blender had an issue and I called and it was taken care of immediately. Highly recommend working with Luxury Beach Rentals.

Love it!
Love everything about this condo and Island Vista. For the condo, it is very spacious and nicely furnished. Good size TVs in the different spots---everyone had their space. The kitchen is large and well stocked! It was nice to have extra plates and cups and be able to have skillets/pans/utensils. Bedrooms were very comfortable and nice that had a bathroom for each. Master connected to the balcony. Liked having hard surface in the living room but carpet in the bedrooms. Sixth floor was perfect---you can come straight from the parking garage (though make sure you are on the correct side, because it goes up to 6 on one side but not the other). Super easy check in (liked the code on the doors as it was easy for everyone to come and go). Balcony was fantastic--loved the rocking chairs! And perfect height---you could see down, but did not get noise. As to the resort...just great. As to the resort--beautifully landscaped, so close to the beach, and so comfortable (great chairs, shade if you want it, etc). Pools and hot tub were fun....weather was great but inside pool and lazy river were great for evening. Small workout room was functional (only about 3 people could be in there at a time), but it was close to everything. Bar area had good food for lunch (note, which they tell you on the menu, that they add 20% on any food) and breakfast was great at the Cypress Room (did not have dinner there). It was also great that there were kids activities and some spa services (though we did not do any of the spa services). Definitely will be back!

The accommodation for 4 nights and two couples was excellent. The property was spacious and clean with perfect views of the ocean/beach. Nice pool area with plenty of seating. Location was great as it was in more of a residential area (great for walking) and limited traffic/noise. I would highly recommend. Our only angst was realizing our condo was on the 6th floor and parking garage ends at 5th floor, and a cart to help unload was not available to us. We would definitely rent again.

The condo and resort were amazing! To look out from the balcony to the view of the ocean was incredible. Even laying in bed in the mornings looking out at the water was like nothing we have ever experienced. The resort had amazing pools and great service. The room came with all the kitchen supplies needed as usually we end up having to buy items but not at this place. It even came with books and games to enjoy. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Possibly consider upgrading your outdoor furniture.
Absolutely lovely spot on the beach.

The condo was just as described and as pictures show. The resort was great and accommodating. Has a feeling of comfort as there are security guards always walking around. Beds were comfortable and condo was clean. We plan to book here again.

Three 74 year old & one 62 year old. Needed a spring getaway. Our condo was wonderful. Plenty of space (incase weather was bad). Beautiful weather! Great balcony for morning sun & breakfast. Great location & restaurants for meals out. Loved our walks on the beach & little evening cocktails.

View view view! Very nice accommodations. An updated on trend coastal unit. Gorgeous view, very nice area of Myrtle beach. Location location location.... north of down town, but not so far you can’t get to where you need in minutes. We were very happy in this unit....this our second visit to Island vista... first time in this unit. We will be back! I recommend the dryer exhaust line be checked as clothes took long to dry and that is usually due to built up lint.... also the wood at the base of the living room sliding glass doors to the balcony is not secured. Also maybe mention the unit comes with a high chair and playpen... we might not have brought that from home if we knew the unit had it....and if you really want to go all out a cheap stroller would have been kinda awesome. No really this is a beautiful place! We will definitely be back!!!

In order to get away and still stay safe during 2020, I wanted a rental with great water views, modern decor, expansive balcony and well equipped kitchen. I got all these in this rental. The oversized balcony was perfect to layout in the afternoon and to sit on in the evening eating dinner I whipped up. The location is a little off the main strip but I wanted a quieter scene. I was there off-peak so it wasn't very busy. I did order a delicious carryout order at the main restaurant at the resort one evening. The property was clean and as presented. I would visit again.

This condo is absolutely amazing! It is well equipped with anything you would need in the kitchen, towels, bedding and supplies. It was extremely clean, great location, amenities were great for the kids, beach wasn’t too crowded, staff was friendly and helpful. It was in a great location for food, coffee, shops,attractions and pretty much anything you could think of. If I were to return to MB in the future this would be the only place I’d stay.

Staying in The Island Vista 1105 was great. I was surprised and impressed with the selection of toys, books and puzzles. The unit is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The easy access to pool and beach was a plus with kids. The unit had everything we needed. The only downside was the small parking garage, but we made it work, even with a Yukon XL>

The view was breathtaking! The condo was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our week's stay including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys. This was first time staying at a condo instead of a hotel and it was a wonderful experience! If you're trying to decide what to do, book this condo. It was perfect!

The condo was right on the beach with a beautiful view! It was well-stocked with items you may not think of bringing: beach toys, cooking spices, etc. The resort has daily beach lifeguards and ample security. If you reserve through VRBO, the resort does not allow you to use the DVD rentals or room service (FYI only). The only true negative was the parking garages. The spaces are very tight, and signs recommend backing in, which can be difficult with a van. Overall, great stay!

We have stayed at Island Vista before. This is by far the best unit we have stayed in. Everything is so clean and well stocked. Furniture in great shape. Plenty of chairs and toys for the beach. This is the unit I want to stay in when I come back to the beach.

The condo was very clean and nice (even nicer than the pictures)! The kitchen had all the utensils/dishes you would need. Plenty of towels, but was really great to have a good washer & dryer. One of the best things provided were the toys for kids, board games and sand toys!!! Such a wonderful thing to provide for guests!
Island Vista overall was a great location (away from main crowds) and has nice amenities, including the chairs reserved on the beach. We had a great time and would highly recommend this condo!
