Island Vista Penthouse 14

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property at Island Vista and we truly enjoyed it. We’ve been going to Island Vista on and off since 2007 and this condo is very nice. With vthat said, the master bathroom could use updating especially the shower. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend others too as well.

We are so happy about our stay. The house is extremely clean, and everything is exactly as we wanted it. The best part is the ocean view. We have stayed in many ocean-view homes, and this one is absolutely the best. We will definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Island Vista. It was exactly what we expected and hoped for based on the listing and it was perfect for our two young families to share. The ocean view, balcony, beach and overall property were all amazing. We loved all the pool options and shallow depths for the kids and being able to grab food at the restaurant at lunch made things really easy.
The furniture and beds were all great. It was really nice to have a full kitchen with everything we needed and three bathrooms for less sharing.
We do agree with the previous review that both the dishwasher and dryer didn't work great but we're still better than not having them!
We liked that the condo was in a residential area nice for walks but still central for easy driving to everything we wanted.
Would stay again for sure!

Beautiful ocean view from balcony. The condo was good size I'd say they need to upgrade the couch and chairs in the living room all in all I would recommend a stay here.

We recently spent 7 nights in Penthouse 14 at Island Vista. The condo was clean, well maintained, and spacious enough for 7 of us. I would definitely book the same rental for a future stay. The resort was clean, staff was friendly, and the beachside location was just what we had hoped for. The outdoor pools were clean and warm. Plenty of outdoor seating. We also liked that there was a tiki bar for poolside drinks and a restaurant onsite for dinner.

Do not hesitate on this one, the condo was huge and we absolutely enjoyed our stay, the kitchen is fully stocked and could not ask for more! will definitely be back.

We were not disappointed with this penthouse condo, even though we have stayed at Island Vista before at a similar lower level condo and besides the higher view, this condo was the same size, we were thinking it would have been much bigger because it was a penthouse. There was plenty of room for our guests so I am not complaining. The condo needs updating. There are still phone jacks in the walls for old phones. The garbage can under the sink needs to have one of those smooth rollers installed for easier access. Other than that, just a refresh would be ideal, but as is, was a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area, but the cost should be reduced to align with the age of the condo.

We loved the room and the Island Vista Resort! It accommodated our family perfect and the kids loved the pool, lazy river and beach access. The resort staff were very professional and polite. I can’t say that for the restaurant. We were lied to by the host and manager. My in-laws were seated without a reservation two groups in front of us. When we got to the front of the line, I asked if we could sit outside because the manager told us it was first come first serve. The host told us they were booked. I explained that we were just told we didn’t need a reservation and his reply again was that they were booked. We then chose to eat by the pool and the food was cold and tasteless. They also add an 18% tip without a word about it. We will return to the resort but won’t be eating at the Cypress Room.

All good except when we were ready to depart, the hotel refused to let us use one of their rolling carts to haul all our luggage to our car claiming it wasn't an option since we were in one of your units.

Very clean. Kitchen very basic. Because of the virus, only my husband and I came, so we certainly had a lot of room.
I would have given it all 5 stars, but there was a to of noise coming from one of the other condos-rooms that came through the ventilation in one of the bathrooms. That bedroom had to be abandoned because of it. That was unacceptable.

Wonderful stay! Property was very clean and the location was fantastic. We really enjoyed the large balcony. Amenities at Island Vista were great and the folks at Luxury Beach Rentals were amazing and provided excellent service. Would definitely recommend this property!

We enjoyed our first trip to Myrtle Beach. The Island Vista penthouse was clean, spacious, quiet, and had beautiful views. One in our party uses a wheelchair, and we all had plenty of room (family with 4 adult kids). Beds were comfy, linens clean, staff helpful. The outdoor seating area was very nice, and we enjoyed all the pools and hot tubs. Island vista is conveniently located on the beach without walking through dry, brown foliage. The palm trees and green grass made us feel like we were in the Caribbean. I like to cook and would have liked a few more items in the kitchen, but we made do. The coffee machine was functioning subpar, so we called and had a brand new one purchased for us and delivered within the hour. Publix and Walmart were our go-to shopping centers, and then we had a short drive to Broadway at the Beach. We would definitely return!
