South Wind 1401

I've stayed in dozens of places in MB over the years and this might be my absolute favorite. Great location, top floor corner unit with massive wrap around balcony with tons of seating options, HUGE 4 bedroom condo - plenty of space for everyone, and was pretty clean. My only complaint...needs a K-cup machine for morning coffee! Highly recommend this unit.

The condo was perfect. It was clean and nicely furnished. Absolutely not one thing wrong.
The views were magnificent. Everything was as described.
Condo building, common areas and grounds are all well maintained and clean.
The rental agency ( Luxury Beach Rentals) was easy to work with and accommodating.
We were even able to check in an hour early.
Had the pleasure of interacting with Carson both on the phone and by email.
He could not have been nicer. He was professional, answered all questions and was overall very warm and welcoming.
Very happy with the entire process.
Looking forward to returning in 2024.

we enjoyed our stay here very much. the property was clean and very well maintained. we wished the pool was a little warmer but other than that everything was wonderful! would definitely recommend and would book again!

Enjoyable but with several exceptions. Bed in M.B. way too high. Needed 2 step stools to get in. Condo had months of dust accumulated under furniture. not tastefully decorated. bedspreads looked like they were 10 yrs. old. shortage of silverware. Housekeeping left much to be desired.
Otherwise everything else was acceptable & enjoyable.

We had a great stay at this unit. With 4 bedrooms & 3 baths, it had plenty of room for us (4 adults, 2 kids). The location is great, with awesome views. They had beach chairs & umbrella which was nice. My only real complaint is that the building is advertised as non-smoking, but the adjacent condo owner smoked on his balcony. When I called the company, I was told they didn’t manage that unit, so there was nothing they could do. So people just need to know that the balcony is great, but you will smell cigarette smoke.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Wind 1401. Our family gathered in Myrtle Beach to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We selected this property based on the accomodations, the proximity to the beach and local entertainment, and the photos.

Our expectations were exceeded. The condo has a HUGE porch that we spent a lot of time on. The facility was clean, safe and offered something for everyone. We could be to one of the properties three pools or the beach in minutes.

I would definitely recommend this property to larger groups and families!

We reserved this beautiful condo last minute and Luxury Beach Rentals was very helpful. Nice quiet community and a very spacious condo with many beds. It would be helpful to have beach towels on site as those traveling from out of state don’t have space to pack that. We hope to stay there again!

My family and I went to spend Christmas in Myrtle beach. This place is amazing, clean, spacious, kid friendly! We loved it! The sunrises are amazing, we got some great shots! And sunsets made the sky so pretty! The indoor heated pool was a plus for us.

South Wind 1401 is a beautiful well equipped oceanfront rental. Our family loved having the wraparound balcony. The unit had everything we needed and we enjoyed having the beach chairs to use so we didn't have to rent them. Cleanliness of the unit could have used some improvement, coffee grinds were left in the coffee maker from the previous guest and a few other minor defects. The only other inconvenience is not have a restroom down by the pool, you have to go back to your unit to use the restroom. Overall we had a great time and the weather was perfect. Thank you for sharing your condo with us, we look forward to returning soon!

The condo was awesome. 14th floor with a wrap around balcony right on ocean front. Easy access to pool & beach. Enjoyed seeing the morning sunrise from our bedroom. Easy access to restaurants and entertainment venues.

It was very nice and quiet. We loved the location! My family and I loved the wrap around balcony. The social distancing on the elevators was executed well. We really enjoyed the fact that it was not crowded at the indoor or outdoor pools. The beach view was great! The room was very clean. They had a playground that was good for my granddaughter. I would definitely recommend this location if you would like to have a nice and quiet family vacation.
