Very pleased with our stay. Room was as advertised, everything we needed and clean. Grounds are well maintained but could have used more attention with pool cleaning. Overall great stay. Can’t wait for next trip.

I searched for 3 weeks online for a place to stay and this place stood out with the raving reviews and location. It did not disappoint. Overall this was a great place to stay. Clean, easy to check in and check out. If we were to come back to Myrtle beach this is where we would stay. Only thing I want to make aware is parking was very difficult for a suv. Also if you want something within walking distance to food or treats this location is not for you.
We however wanted to be away from the rush, so it worked for us.

My stay in the South Wind 204 property fully met my expectations. The property is very clean and well maintained. The amenities such as the pools, hot tubs & lazy river were great and exactly as they were depicted in pre-rental photos. This condo is on the 2nd floor of the building and very convenient with regards to the parking which is also located on the 2nd floor. It’s located very close to all Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. The property is a short maybe 3 to 3/12 mile drive to the boardwalk.. It’s next to a very nice residential area. I found that to be a real advantage, less
noise and no traffic jams. The view of the beach from the outside balcony is excellent. The beach was groomed on a regular basis and the property is located is just steps away. There are lifeguards on duty and beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. One small complaint it that the company renting this equipment sets up about 30 umbrellas directly behind the property. That’s nice if you want to rent one, but forces you to move a little further down the beach if you brought your own equipment, many guests did just that and for the most part those most of the rentals weren’t even used. The overall property seems very safe because of its location and property surveillance. The rules are reasonable and appropriate to enhance your wellbeing. This property was rented through Luxury Beach Rentals. Their service before, during and after was excellent. If anytime in the future I decide to vacation in the Myrtle Beach area they will be the first company I contact for either the property at South Wind or elsewhere.

This was the third year we rented this property. It's a perfect unit for the two of us. The condo is clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the TV and it was remedied quickly. I appreciated receiving the texts from the rental company during our stay. They made me feel they appreciated our business. I would most definitely book this condo again.

Very nice. We were disappointed that they were not utilizing the grass area more for an area to read and relax away from the pool area. We would have enjoyed an umbrella table in that area.

The room was clean and larger than I thought it would be. It was decorated beautifully. It had everything you could need. The beds were cozy, the kitchen had all the essentials, there was a vacuum, broom and 2 mops so you can clean up after yourselves. The 2nd floor was a very nice location looking over all the pools. The Oceanview was beautiful. I do wish check in time was earlier then 4:00pm, by the time you get in the room and unpack the day is over. 2:00 is a fair time for check in, in my opinion.

This is the second time we rented this unit because it is perfect for our needs. The beds are comfortable and it is just the right size for the two of us. We like being on a lower floor so when looking for a place to stay this was a priority. We enjoyed the quiet location and most of all being right on the beach. The other guests and tenants in the building were friendly and quiet. The entire complex is well maintained and lovely.

South Wind is a beautiful building and very well-maintained. it is conveniently located. The parking is excellent. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because my wife and I are used to sleeping on a softer mattress, and there was no table to eat at so you can enjoy the beautiful view. I wish the beach authorities would not allow fishing from the beach in front of the hotel.

Our room was absolutely perfect for the two of us.

I’ve had never been to Myrtle Beach so I really took a chance on this condo. I was so pleased with this lovely quiet location. What sealed the deal was being on the second floor. It was so convenient to the parking plus the elevators. The condo itself was just the right size for my husband and me. We had a hiccup when I plugged NORTH Myrtle beach into the gps. Thankfully the person in the rental office helped us out quickly. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

We love Southwind, the area is clean and quiet, in a residential neighborhood yet close enough to restaurants, shopping, etc. This room, 204, was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, roomy, and decorated nicely (and modern). I generally request a higher floor, but rooms were limited. Being on the second floor, where we were required to park, was super convenient and the view of the beach was still amazing. Short walk to the beach. We had a great time and comfortable room. I would definitely book this room again.

Our rental experience was overall great!! Everything was booked online an email came the week before with all instructions. Once arriving a packet of parking passes were laid out on counter for us, along with dish detergent, sponge, paper towel, toilet paper, and a start on anything we could need for our stay. The room was very modern and up to date. Well kept and SUPER clean. This condo did not disappoint. The only negative my husband and I found was the mattress’s were super hard. And we are not ones to typically complain about a mattress. It was very hard to get a good night sleep on and I found my husband when I would wake up on the couch (trying to sleep). I feel like that is the only negative I can find with this property. It was great being in 2nd floor there is no one below the room so I didn’t feel like I needed to be super quiet walking around late at night. And the room is very convenient to the parking garage area which is also on 2nd floor. So we did not have to use elevator or walk far at all. I would definitely stay at this property for future vacations.

We stayed at Southwind Condo 204. It was very comfortable and clean. The condo is beautiful and well decorated. It is close to everything in Myrtle Beach but is removed from the noise and crowds. We were there during the tail end of bike week and worried about bike noise but we didn’t hear any of it. Only downfall is being so low on the 2nd floor you can’t really see the ocean off the balcony due to trees but you have a great view of the pool area.

A week long intro to a winter getaway in Myrtle Beach

I loved the experience I had with this company. The property I stayed at had a code for the door so I didn’t have to “check-in.” Instructions were emailed about a week prior to my arrival so I knew what to expect. I had 2 issues (very minor-trash key and cable) to arise and they were handled the same day. “Checking out” was just as painless as “check in.” I will definitely book with them again.
